On our trip to Seattle I only had a few places that were on my list to see, one of them was Volunteer Park Conservatory. I had seen a lot of photos on Instagram over the years, but was never able to get out there. The conservatory was built in 1912 and has 3,426 panes of glass, that incase plant species from around the globe. I wish I could have spent more time here taking photos, if I was alone I could have spent a good 1-2 hours photographing.

If you are planning on visiting the park, I would recommend picking up some lunch, grabbing a blanket, camera, and backpack. Take a stroll thru the park, have a picnic and really go slow thru the conservatory. If you take the time to really look at all the plants, the textures and colors are mind blowing…If you run through it…then you are missing out.
